Hello Families! Our field trip was a fun success, I think the only thing we want was MORE TIME THERE!!! Thank you wonderful volunteers for coming to help take groups around the Thinkery. *Next week, I am out Monday & Tuesday. I'll be back on Wednesday for our class picture day! *Homework: I have had a parent reach out asking for additional homework to have at night. In your child's blue daily folder they have a homework grid for the month of March. This grid contains reviews of Second-Grade TEKS and concepts we have studies throughout the year. Please know this is entirely optional and does not need to be returned to school. If you would like your student to complete it and need to blame me to get that done, that's fine! You can tell them I've talked to YOU and want this to be their new homework. Up to you! Use it or Loose it! Wishlist If you are able to provide any of the following items, please email me with which item and quantity, I will update the list. I really appreciate the help. A homework sheet with directions will go home on Tuesday (I will explain it to them on Tuesday, I have not told them yet.) Each night, right before they crawl into bed, please have them take a peak at the sky to try to find the moon. We understand they won't be able to see it everyday due to various reasons, so we also provide you with websites that tell the percent/show pictures of what the moon looked like at night for them to use on their new homework sheet.
