Happy Friday! We have been so busy creating our businesses! We have a salon, blacksmiths making tools, entertainment hub, massage studio, fortune tellers, and more! As parents were not invited to this project, for it is a student led event, I will make sure to include many photos for y'all. Check my instagram on Monday for videos. WOW! Thank you all so much for the flowers, treats, signs, and encouraging words after receiving the EANESpiration award. You sure know how to make a teacher feel special! Next week we start our Eanes History Unit where the kiddos will travel back in time to see what the world was like and then learn about our community in the past. The 2nd grade teachers have made this unit into a PBL (Project Based Learning) and are very excited! Thursday, in their folders a letter went home asking for an 'old artifact.' Please bring in anything old you have (or reach out to family members!) We want the students to actually be able to see & touch artifacts from the past. Even if it's an old Nokia phone or something not that old, they will still be able to see how things have changed! Wishlist If you are able to provide any of the following items, please email me with which item and quantity, I will update the list. I really appreciate the help. The items are used to enhance our learning and make learning fun! I know the students appreciate it also.
